Our own NAPA Valleys along the Corridors!  Wine trails, tours, events and weekend getaway packages on the waterways are popular destination points for many to get that chance to relax, learn and let someone else do the driving. Many of the trails are located on or very near the Twin Tiers Corridors offering some eye-catching views of the vineyards. Stop by and visit some of the merchants whose wines and other products have been featured in regional and national magazines and newspaper articles. For wineries in New York State, visit Cayuga Wine Trail,  Seneca Lake Wine, Lake Erie Wine Country, Finger Lakes Wine CountryUncork New York and the Keuka Lake Wine Trail.

Pennsylvania winery links include Upstate Wine Country situated in the northeastern counties, the Ground Hog Wine Trail along the northcentral counties, and the Pennsylvania Wine Trail in the Susquehanna Heartland.

The Old West in Action.......

Need a lift of a different kind? Enjoy a ride on one of the many excursion trains located along the Corridors. Themed excursion trains are a wonderful, fun source of family entertainment or just for couples. Enjoy an art tour along the way. Visit these websites for a self-guided tour of various galleries and other points of interest along PA Route 6 and PA Wilds Artisan Trail. If you happen to be travelling US Route 15, check out the 180 mile artisan trail at Route 15 ByWay of the Arts.

Do you love lighthouses or being by the bright clear water? The Seaway Trail, Inc., which connects from PA Route 6, is a 518 mile byway that runs along the freshwater shoreline of New York and Pennsylvania. The route is designated as a National Recreation Trail and is one of America's scenic byways.  Perhaps Native American history interests you.  Check out Native American heritage and cultural events hosted in Western New York State.

While visiting our area, hiking enthusiasts can enjoy many trail systems that course through Pennsylvania State Parks and New York State Parks. The challenging Apalachin Trail courses both through New York and Pennsylvania offering hikers beautiful views and vistas along the way.  The Explore PA Trails, PA Wilds and DCNR websites also offer detailed information for everyone who loves the Pennsylvania great outdoors.  Are you a geocache fan?  Check out the fun on the Allegheny Geotrail.  Pennsylvania has nearly 1,600 mountain peaks and summits to visit and New York has over 3,500!
